COMPANY
HISTORY
For over 100 years
The company has its origins in a dairy founded in 1898. In 1915, Karl Grünwald founded a small haulage business with a horse-drawn cart. By 1939, the fleet had grown to 5 trucks. In 1946, Franz Nemetz took over the business from his father-in-law. During the war years, all trucks were confiscated.
In 1958, Hubert Nemetz joined the company and for the first time engaged in the disposal of construction site waste. The company continued to expand until 1993, when the first sorting hall was opened in Leopoldsdorf.
In 1999, Ulrike Goldnagl-Nemetz and Herbert Prammer took over the management of the company, and the second site in Himberg was acquired.
Today, the 5th generation is active in the company.

By using state-of-the-art technology, both in our processing and sorting facilities and in our vehicle fleet, we place particular emphasis on ecological and economic considerations. For our customers, this guarantees the careful use of resources.

We always want to offer our customers and the environment the very best; to communicate these standards to the outside world, in 2004 we decided to obtain the certificate for specialised waste management companies.
In 2011, we received the ISO 9001 & 14001 certificates for the first time.
In 2014, we were successfully recertified according to ISO 9001 & 14001.
